Ariel Baron-Robbins is a Graduate student in the MFA program in painting at the University of South Florida. She currently teaches at the USF and is an exhibiting artist. She received her BFA from the University of Mississippi and has also been a student on several study abroad course including: USF's Paris Program June, 2008, UM's England Program, Aug. 2006 and the University of Georgia's Cortona program in Italy, Spring and Summer programs, 2003. She is currently Co-President of her MFA graduate program at USF, MFA.org, and has received a scholarship from the Las Damas Des Artes group. In her emerging career as an artist she has had five solo exhibitions of her paintings and drawings and been involved in numerous group exhibitions. Her galleries include: Midtown Galleries, Memphis, Tennessee, Southside Gallery, Oxford Mississippi, the Sarah Howell Gallery, Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Merrimekko Gallery, Oxford, Mississippi.
