Originally from Russia, Maximovitch moved to U.S. at the age of 16 and for a while resided in Morgantown West Virginia where he went to WVU to pursue his BFA. Currently he is working on his MFA at University of South Florida.

Statement
Maxim Maximovitch is a young artist whose work serves as documentation of his journey to establish spirituality through mind-surfing and self-psychoanalysis. His current concept builds on recent material on dream analysis, which examines most of the major theories, books on shamanism, and personal experiences/practices with altered states of consciousness. Maximovitch's work is digital, and integrates 3D computer graphics, digital painting, and photography.
